Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla

The students at the GNCH and Freeman hospital continue to work extremely hard. They have been studying topics sent from their home schools. This ensures that they are keeping up to date with work covered by their peers. They also learn about significant news stories, in particular, this month, about the coronation of our new monarch, King Charles III and Queen Camilla. Many of the young people showed excellent knowledge of the Royal Family. They have shared reading with teachers about the Coronation itself and what happens at this historic event at Westminster Abbey. Some have completed comprehension activities, solved puzzles and created posters. Others have explored interactive sensory stories. The photographs show some of the activities completed.
