Kirkley Hall Visit

This week at Kirkley Hall we went on a tour round the zoo. We did this because we had new students with us who had not been to Kirkley Hall before and this was an excellent opportunity to have a look at the range of animals we could work with and learn some interesting facts and the backgrounds of how some of the animals came to the zoo. We had a walk round the agriculture area where we saw the sheep getting their health checks. We walked through the wallaby enclosure and John the Zookeeper told us that the female parma wallaby has a baby in her pouch. Hopefully in the coming months we will see the baby on our weekly visits!
