The Raven

Students at Ferndene have been exploring gothic writing, with particular focus on the poem The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe.

Students took inspiration from this poem to create feathers that explored some of the formal elements of Art, combined with key descriptive features from the poem.

Students were able to extract key phrases and vocabulary and match their use of colour, line and pattern to best convey the atmosphere described.
