Vincent Van Gogh

Some students at Ferndene have been working on developing their observational drawing skills, particularly those of natural forms.

Students have been using the grid method to help break down images into manageable sections, and have really been focusing in on detail and tone.

Students are in the process of taking their observational skills further by working in a range of different materials, and looking at the work of Vincent Van Gogh.

We will soon be working on our own Van Gogh inspired artwork by creating our own still life sets.
