National Poetry Day - Thursday 5th October 2023

“It takes just one poem... National Poetry Day is the annual mass celebration on the first Thursday of October that encourages everyone to make, experience and share poetry with family and friends. The students at the GNCH and Freeman hospital have been working with their teachers on poetry. They have been reading poetry, discussing the poems, poetic techniques and creating their own poems. They have created acrostic poems, shape poems and art work associated with poetry. Some of their lovely poems are shown below.
