Kirkley Hall Enrichment Trip

On our weekly enrichment trip students had the opportunity to feed some of the animals. We collected some live feed to feed the meerkats. Students were allowed to go in to the meerkat enclosure and feed them live meal worms. We scattered the meal worms around, the meerkats enjoyed this enrichment activity. We learned about the dynamics of the group of five, there are four males and one female. The female is the smallest of the five and is in charge! We later went to the ring tailed lemur enclosure. We brought them bowls of chopped fruit and veg, they particularly enjoyed the beetroot!
