Allotment News

In the weekly Environmental Studies and Outdoor Learning sessions at Kenton, students have worked hard to build their own allotment. They helped build and prepare the beds, planted and grew seeds in to vegetables! They have tended to the veg in their sessions growing various produce that has been able to be used across the curriculum. Students grew lettuce, onions and garlic and this was then used in Food Technology when students made subway sandwiches, the fresh produce smelled amazing!
