Showcasing Pupil Work to the NHS at Ferndene and Stephenson Awards

This week has seen NHS staff attending the classrooms at Ferndene and Stephenson Awards to see what the young people have been able to achieve in lessons with the education team. The team, including OTS, doctors, nurses, nursing assistants and psychologists, as well as those training for roles were highly impressed and enjoyed seeing the young people's success in class time.

They were able to showcase pupil art work, their Iron Man group project, understanding shapes and volume, as well as displaying their Maths and Science skills with a large array of books with outstanding work. 

The pupils were able to showcase some of their published stories and have more ideas about sharing their written work with a wider audience. Watch this space for the 2026-27 academic year.
