Ferndene English Session with Author Christopher Galvin

Last week, everyone was so excited. The young people had been waiting all week for their online event with author Christopher Galvin and it didn't disappoint.

They were able to learn about his new book, 'The Thing About Giants', and helped to give ideas for his new book title. He loved the idea of 'The Misneach of the Fathach', which they learnt translated to his Irish roots meaning 'the courage of the giant'.

Everyone made a mind map about what they learnt from the author and realised that you can have another job alongside being an author. Christopher Galvin gets many of his creative ideas when working in his full time role at Virgin Media as a presentation editor.
