Read for Good Visit

The pupils in the GNCH and Freeman Hospital enjoyed another visit from Gerry, the Read for Good story teller last week. As always, they loved hearing Gerry tell some wonderful stories, joining in with singing songs and choosing books from the Read for Good book trolley.

Read for Good’s Hospital programme provides brand new books and regular storyteller visits to children’s hospitals. The provision of a book trolley ensures that children and young people in hospital have access to brand new books. The storyteller visits further help to provide the inspiration to discover a love of reading.
