World Cup Fun

Last week, it wasn’t just a big day for England football team setting off their campaign in the World Cup, it was also a big day for Ferndene pupils.

They were invited to The Arc to participate in football quizzes, guessing the minute of the first goal, joining a sweepstake and creating origami football tops, which they had a lot of fun creating. Many of the young people were excited about joining in the penalty shootout against staff.

The pupils said they enjoyed the event, and it was lovely to see people from other wards and get involved with the fun before the match.
The medical team and occupational therapists also were seen having a go at the penalty challenge.
