GNCH Staff Visit the Medicinema

Last week, the staff at the GNCH visited the Medicinema to meet with manager Marc Shaw. It was great to meet Marc to find out more about the Medicinema and how the pupils in the GNCH can access and benefit from visits there.

Medicinema build, install and run state-of-the-art cinemas in hospitals and provide cinema experiences which support the emotional, physical and mental health of patients. They are specially designed to accommodate beds, wheelchairs and medical equipment and screen the latest films completely free of charge. Visits to the Medicinema can help to ease the stress and anxiety felt by many patients and can help to improve their wellbeing, thereby helping to make their hospital experience more positive.

The staff are very much looking forward to working alongside Marc and the Medicinema to provide some exciting experiences for the pupils in hospital.
