What a Weird Bunch

Newcastle Bridges School were very excited to be gifted a number of free tickets to go and see a production of 'Weird' at Newcastle's Theatre Royal on Thursday 29th January. The electrifying pop-powered musical reimagines Shakespeare’s Macbeth through the eyes of the fiercely fabulous and fun three witches, The Weird Sisters, and premiered at Newcastle Theatre Royal the day before.

They took 11 students from Years 9-11 and, for some, this was the first time they had been to the theatre. It's safe to say they loved it - the music was excellent, the acting fantastic and the overall atmosphere, in Libby's words, was "amazing".
