Nil Charge School Meals Extended

The Trustees of Prosper Learning Trust (PLT) have been providing all of our pupils with the opportunity to receive a nil charge school meal during the school week. As you are aware this initiative has been in place since January 2023 and is reviewed periodically. This has meant that pupils who do not currently receive free school meals receive a nil charge lunch, paid for by the Trust, up to the value of a school meal each day they are in school.

This nil charge initiative will continue for the remainder of this year up until the end of December.

We still encourage all families who may be entitled to free school meals for their children to continue to claim these during this period, because as well as being a benefit to the pupils it also ensures that our schools receive the additional income from the Government to help provide support and resources.
