Fleet Feet on Ferndene’s Street

To mark the 80^th anniversary of the Allies victory over Nazi Germany, the young people at Ferndene took to The Street and played a selection of games. The equipment used would not have been unfamiliar to the soldiers who had just finished fighting. They used parachutes, ladders and hurdles. Unfortunately, the land mines and barbed wire fell foul of the risk assessment. There was exercise, there was fun, and there was sun. What a way to mark the day.
