Newcastle City Council, in partnership with the Newcastle United Foundation are organising the second ‘My Future, My Choice’ Careers Fair on Tuesday 30th January 2024 at St. James’ Park.

Their vision is to give young people in the city equal opportunity to access employers, education and training providers and support organisations. The careers event will showcase the fantastic opportunities within the city and raise the vocational aspirations of young people by increasing their understanding of entry requirements into further and higher education, training provision and their awareness of sectors, routes and levels of entry into the employment market.

The 'My Future, My Choice' daytime event is aimed at Years 10-13 and is an inclusive event show-casing routes and opportunities for all ability groups. There will be stall holders covering all the major employment sectors including green renewable, public services, hospitality, engineering and more, plus a full academic range from colleges and universities to local training provision.

Pupils will be attending the Careers Fair during the school day on Tuesday 30th January 2024. Parents and carers are welcome to attend the early evening session between 3.30-5.30pm This is ticket only and bookable via the link below:

The feedback from attendees last year was fantastic -

‘Great range of employers’

‘Really useful, loads of information’

‘Great to be able to speak to employers’.

We would encourage pupils and their parents/carers to attend to find out about the fantastic opportunities available.
