Kirkley Hall

On our weekly Kirkley Hall trip students had the opportunity to have a look round the rodent room. A lot of the animals were awake so we were able to have a look at and learn about the degus, gerbils, hamsters, chinchillas and rats. Students had the opportunity to stroke and handle the chinchillas and rats. We then moved to the discovery room were we chose to hold the White’s Tree Frog. We had to wear gloves which we spritzed with water to help the frog feel more comfortable. We then got to have a closer look at the beautiful markings on the mossy tree frog.
